QUALITY FORUM
The forum was initiated within SLASSCOM to promote and encourage quality, information, security across all SLASSCOM member companies and within the industry. Some of the key Mandates of the quality forum are to develop enterprise capability with adoption of international standards of quality, security and governance and to promote emerging quality practices & trends by creating a platform for best practice sharing and awareness. The impact targeted is to strengthen the quality fraternity and the industry in both elements, Quality Assurance and Quality engineering
The quality forum of SLASSCOM is passionate in its ambition to elevate the quality of software export from Sri Lanka to the world. The Forum initiatives always brings together leaders in the QA community and/or fraternity, quality engineering professionals and enthusiasts in the industry.
The quality forum breaks down to multiple service areas
1.1 Quality Summit
- Service: Targeted at developing enterprise capability with adoption of international standards of quality, security and governance
- Target Audience: Members, Other industry companies, IT University students
1.2 Colombo Test Automation Conference
- Service: This initiative will bring together Engineers from industry and Academia to discuss trends in Test Automation and Quality Engineering Practices
- Target Audience: Members, Other IT & Security companies, IT University Students
1.3 Bi- Monthly QA Webinars
- Service : This initiative will educate BPM companies on the emerging quality best practices and trends.
- Target Audience: BPM member companies
1.4 University reach Programs
- Service : This initiative will educate Data/AI companies on the emerging quality best practices and trends.
- Target Audience: Data/AI member companies
1.5 Bi- Monthly QA Webinars
- Service: These session are held once a month in order for the forum to focus on promoting emerging quality practices and trends and plan initiatives that will facilitate more collaboration between quality professionals
- Target Audience: Members, Other IT & Security companies, IT University Students
1.6 University reach Programs
- Service: The objective is to educate University students on the key importance of quality assurance and the opportunities available in the IT industry
- Target Audience: IT University Students
