SLASSCOM Academy now offers bootcamps in DevOps, Data Science, and Machine Learning. These bootcamps will provide a fast track for newcomers to acquire practical skills and knowledge and to gain hands-on experience by working on real-world projects, enabling them with the aptitude to apply the theories they learn to practical scenarios. These programs will also provide an excellent opportunity for participants to interact and engage with experts in the field and gain valuable insights from their experiences.

The Data Science and Machine Learning Boot Camp will cover three essential areas: DS/ML thinking, Python for DS/ML implementations, and DS/ML productization. Participants will be taught about data science design thinking, statistical and mathematical tools, and algorithms. They will also learn to scale DS/ML models from experiments to production, gaining hands-on experience with MLOps and DataOps The boot camp will span over 12 weeks, where participants will need to complete at least three evaluations, including a final assessment, to successfully finish the program. They will also need to contribute code to a designated repository, which will be reviewed by Industrial and Academic Data Science specialists. Participants will receive a credit score based on their overall performance, along with a completion certificate at the end of the program. The boot camp is suitable for data enthusiast, STEM graduates and experienced IT/BPM professionals. 

The DevOps Bootcamp combines software development with IT operations and covers various topics such as software development methodologies, infrastructure automation, continuous integration and deployment, monitoring, and cloud computing. The program includes lectures, hands-on exercises, and simulation-based assignments to help participants learn different tools, processes, and ways of thinking to improve software development and delivery, teamwork, and customer value. Additionally, the curriculum covers DevOps culture, the Linux operating system, and git fundamentals. Participants will learn how to automate application and infrastructure deployment using CI/CD and work with containerization concepts and Kubernetes. The program also includes discussions of cloud computing platforms, popular cloud services such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and “Infrastructure as Code” to manage cloud provisioning and the importance of monitoring applications and cloud resources. Upon completion of the program, participants will be proficient in implementing DevOps principles and practices, automating deployment processes, establishing continuous integration and delivery processes, and working with cloud computing platforms, containerization, and monitoring tools. The DevOps Bootcamp is suitable for software developers, system administrators, DevOps engineers, and operations engineers.
