As Google's Director, Public Policy and Government Affairs for Greater China and Southeast Asia, Ann Lavin focuses works to focus on a range of issues including economic empowerment, content regulation, geopolitics, privacy and general technology policy. She has spent over a decade living or working in Asia. Before joining Google, Lavin was a Senior Advisor with McLarty Associates, a US-based strategic advisory firm and Vice President of the US-ASEAN Business Council, the principal US business organization in Southeast Asia.
