Fostering Entrepreneurship will be a key driver of the post war economic boom in Sri Lanka.Tech start ups such as Google,Facebook or even the NASDAQ listed Virtusa that were once start ups are now large global players. The SLASSCOM Thought Leadership Forum on Fostering Entrepreneurship: Creating a Supportive Ecosystem featuring a keynote address by Shruti Challa who is an Indian-American serial entrepreneur, adviser, and international public speaker seeks to under the underlying basis for creating a supportive ecosystem that fosters entrepreneurship.Ms.Challa’s visit to Sri Lanka has been facilitated by the US Embassy in Colombo.

Shruti Challa is an Indian-American serial entrepreneur, adviser, and international public speaker. While studying economics and international policy at Stanford University she started working with the well-known Silicon Valley venture firm Founders Fund, which most is known for its investments in Space X and Facebook. In her last quarter at Stanford at the age of 22, Shruti founded and raised capital for her first consumer internet/social start-up – Tribal Atmosphere (also referred to as Go Tribal! and Pinchd.She has now started her third start-up -Mentorzen. Shruti has spoken at events like NASSCOM, Start-Up America, 100×100 etc
