SLASSCOM hosts first-ever virtual ceremony to felicitate long-stay members

The Sri Lanka Association for Software Services Companies (SLASSCOM), a vital catalyst and the national chamber for Sri Lanka’s IT/BPM industry, recently felicitated its long-stay members in appreciation of their contributions to SLASSCOM’s growth and success via an online ceremony held on Zoom. 

SLASSCOM’s success as a chamber for knowledge and innovation is dependent on its network of supportive members, in recognition of whom the event was held, celebrating the member organizations who had completed a membership period of over five and over 10 years.

Speaking on the strong collaborative partnership between the chamber and its extensive membership, SLASSCOM Chairperson Sandra De Soyza stated: “Over the decade, you have made significant contributions to the growth of SLASSCOM. Today we have grown to be a trade organization with a membership of hundreds. That’s phenomenal. Because of all of you, the industry is really flourishing, and I’m proud, and I’m sure you are, too, for having played a pivotal role in making SLASSCOM who we are today. On behalf of all the past chairmen, as well as my board, I want to say a big thank you and express our sincere gratitude for all your contributions towards making our industry, country and SLASSCOM thrive. As such, today this ceremony is held to celebrate, appreciate and recognize your valued commitment and support that has propelled our successful journey.”

The member organizations who were felicitated for completing over 10 years with SLASSCOM comprised of BPO Connect Group, Talliance, CAM Management Solutions, IFS Research & Development, InfoMate, Just In Time Technologies, hSenid Software International, Dialog Axiata, Zone24x7, Stax Inc., 99x, Virtusa, Vital Hub, Wavenet International, Infor Nexus, Innodata Lanka, Mubasher Technologies, Pearson Lanka, and CodeGen International.  

The next segment celebrated members who had been with SLASSCOM for over five years., These included  ACECAM, Blue Lotus 360, CBA Solutions – Payable, Calcey Technologies, Cenmetrix, Micronet Global Services, Nibaya, Omobio, One Billion Tech, Persistent Systems, Colombo Centre for Cognitive Computing, Creative Software, Embla Software Innovation, Encyte, Ernst & Young, Eyepax, eBuilder Technology Centre, GUI Solutions Lanka, GoodAgile Lanka, H Connect, Hayleys Business Solutions International, HealthRecon Connect, IBM World Trade Corporation, IFS R&D International, ISM APAC, Kingslake, LankaClear, MAS Legato, Metatechno Lanka Company, Prima Management Services, S.A. For SLASSCOM, their members are a key source of growth, from their involvement in SLASSCOM’s efforts to boost the IT/BPM sector to the unique and diversified expertise they bring to the chamber. These companies account for 90% of the IT-BPM industry export revenue the country generates at present. 

Boasting partnerships that have led to many successes and milestones to be celebrated, SLASSCOM and its member companies will continue their collective vision in the quest of revolutionizing Sri Lanka’s IT/BPM industry to be the leading export revenue earner for the country.
