
SLASSCOM hosts first-ever virtual ceremony to felicitate long-stay members
The Sri Lanka Association for Software Services Companies (SLASSCOM), a vital catalyst and the national chamber for Sri Lanka’s IT/BPM industry, recently felicitated its long-stay members in appreciation of their contributions to SLASSCOM’s growth and success via an online ceremony held on Zoom.
SLASSCOM’s success as a chamber for knowledge and innovation is dependent on its network of supportive members, in recognition of whom the event was held, celebrating the member organizations who had completed a membership period of over five and over 10 years.
Speaking on the strong collaborative partnership between the chamber and its extensive membership, SLASSCOM Chairperson Sandra De Soyza stated: “Over the decade, you have made significant contributions to the growth of SLASSCOM. Today we have grown to be a trade organization with a membership of hundreds. That’s phenomenal. Because of all of you, the industry is really flourishing, and I’m proud, and I’m sure you are, too, for having played a pivotal role in making SLASSCOM who we are today. On behalf of all the past chairmen, as well as my board, I want to say a big thank you and express our sincere gratitude for all your contributions towards making our industry, country and SLASSCOM thrive. As such, today this ceremony is held to celebrate, appreciate and recognize your valued commitment and support that has propelled our successful journey.”
